So, we meet again, you and I, dear, dear 20six users, whom I love like you were my very own children. Yes, all of you, even the malcontents and the mopey ones.

What can I say? You all deserve the biggest apology ever for the problems we've been having this last week. I know the site has been down a lot, and I understand how massively frustrating this must have been to you all, not least because it has been very frustrating for me too, being unable to update my blog feels like going without vital food or something!

We've had a serious issue, which the programmers have been working very hard to fix, and say they will have finally fixed and stable again over the next two days.

I am really terribly sorry that your blogging service has been interrupted in this was, and I assure you that it hasn't been unnoticed, and we're not ignoring the issue, it will be fixed.

Sorry again, but you should all be back to normal service over the next day or two.

Hi All,

Due to a power outage yesterday, we have experienced several problems over this weekend.  I do extend sincere apologies to all of our users, problems experienced may have been down time, password failure or inability to login.  I assure you all of these have been fixed now and that no one has lost any data as a result of this.

I hope that everyone who was affected saw it as a great opportunity to get out and enjoy this sunshine, it's been lovely here!

We've added quite a few new layouts to the layout base section today, and I must say, some of them are rather swish, you may be familiar with some of them too.  There are a variety of colours and styles to give much more choice for how your blog looks.

Yes, I'm sorry, I've seen the blog list, and someone is manually creating millions of Vicoprofen spam blogs.  I am deactivating them as quickly as they're made, and looking into further measures to stop this. You have my sincerest apologies for any disruption caused by this proliferation of spam. 

In the mean time, if you're the spammer, get a brain, what use is a site that is deleted straight away?

Hi All,

To all those who use coComment for comment tracking, it's back again and should be more reliable this time around.  For anyone who doesn't, it's worth using if you wish to remember where you've commented, and it tracks comment responses.  At present it tracks only comments from other users, however I have spoken to  the people at coComment and they are working on enabling it to track all comments.
